Group sessions are held with 4-12 participants and 1-3 Counsellors (facilitators). Each session lasts 1:15-1:45 hours and takes place once a week.
Working within a group session framework gives us the opportunity to explore ourselves through various "social" processes that take place. Under certain conditions, these social processes can bring about faster and more decisive results toward desired individual / group goals (change, self-improvement, etc.).
Group counselling can address broader issues, such as self-awareness and socialisation, as well as much more specific topics, such as stress management, eating disorders, single-parent families, people with chronic illnesses or their partners/carers, and interaction with people who share the same fears, among others.
